Different world perceptions by Delphine Papin

2018

After a quarter of a century since the treatise the post-Cold War “clash of civilizations”, Delphine Papin releases a map synthesizing three political cartography projects: Atlas des civilisations, La Vie – Le Monde, 2015, Samuel Huntington, Le Choc des civilisations, Odile Jacob, 2000, Jean-Christophe Rufin, L’Empire et les nouveaux barbares, JC Lattès, 2001.

The map questions about the concept of the “area of civilization” and shows cross connections between even very distant lands.
